Come and join the Summer School of Gaming at the South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences (Xamk).The course will center on the Essentials of Video Game Creation (3 ECTS) and will provide instruction in the fundamentals of creating video games through the exploration of concept design and development. Through practical exercises, you'll gain proficiency in developing a foundational game concept, from inception to pitching. Instruction will be delivered by professionals from the gaming industry.
What are the courses offered?
At the Xamk Summer School of Gaming, you'll delve into the fundamentals of video game creation, including game concept design and development, within an enjoyable and culturally enriching atmosphere. You'll grasp the essence of gaming and its development process while interacting with fellow enthusiasts from across the globe. Through hands-on experience, you'll master the process of evolving a basic game concept from inception to presentation. Additionally, you'll enhance your teamwork skills through collaborative development of a game concept within a team setting.
A good level (preferably B1) of English and basic computer software skills are required.
